Mr. Keisler's book The Omega Manifesto takes the reader on a journey that begins with the foundation of thought and ends with biblical revelations on the last days. Readers will appreciate the straightforward and logical presentation of ideas, which paint a vivid picture of what has been and what is to come. The Omega Manifesto is in my humble opinion a well-written book that won't disappoint!

This book is a must have! Keisler is both intellectually solid and imaginative in his holistic view of apologetics, philosophy, and eschatology. Readers get a glimpse into Earth's tumultuous future and are forced to look at life's most important of questions: "How do I respond to the message of Jesus Christ?". I highly recommend The Omega Manifesto.

Both the text and the photomicrographs emphasize the impor­tance of immunohistochemistry and molecular in situ hybridization as adjuncts to morphology in routine clinical diagnosis. A binary (low-grade and high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion) classification for histology, analogous to TBS for cytology, replaces the four-tiered dysplasia/CIS system and the three-tiered CIN system. Fácil de leer y una vez comienzas no te puedes despegar. Lo recomiendo para todas esas personas que creen que la vida no acaba con la muerte y a los que no creen también. Una vez leí algo que decía que creer que la muerte es el fin de la existencia es como creer que el horizonte es el fin del mar. Este libro es uno de esos que lo confirma.

The collection presented here includes Crowley’s two most important instructional writings on the design and purpose of the Magical Diary. John St. John, first published in THE EQUINOX in 1909, chronicles his moment-to-moment progress during a 13-day Great Magical Retirement. Crowley referred to John St. John as "... a perfect model of what a magical record should be ..."

A Master of the Temple is taken from the Magical Diary of Frater Achad (Charles Stansfeld Jones). It was included in EQUINOX III, 1 in 1919. Crowley edited the diary for publication — and added his invaluable commentary on Achad’s magical work — at a time when he felt Achad was his most successful student.

James Wasserman has been practicing the Magical system of Aleister Crowley for many years. Drawing on other primary Crowley texts, as well as his own experience with the Magical Record, he explores the purpose and necessity of the journal

Learn from those who walk the walk

Aleister Crowley penned "John St. John" as an antidote to claims that the practice of magic necessarily involved long periods of seclusion, preparation and meditation. This diary demonstrates how one can achieve the same ends without renouncing mundane life, making it an invaluable case study for anyone contemplating a Great Magical Retirement. Paired with the diary of his star pupil, Charles Stansfeld Jones, this compilation from The Equinox is a primer on how to keep a magical record...a fundamental practice in Crowley's scientific illuminism. Mr. Wasserman's articulate annotations illuminate the more obscure or cryptic entries, and the humorous culinary glossary alone is worth the price of admission. Aleister Crowley And the Practice of the Magical Diary is an indispensible resource for all students of magick.

valuable insight

Much of this book has been reprinted from older sources, mainly The Equinox vol 1 and vol 3, and yet it is definitely worth having and owning in this format.

First, Crowley's 'John St John' diary is fascinating on every level, a portrait not only of the magician but also of a most unusual man trying to draw the best out of himself in an intensive, short sliver of time; this is directly contrasted with Charles Stansfield Jones' 'Master of the Temple,' which extends over more than a year during which he was isolated physically, financially, and spiritually in Canada, his original mentor came and quit, and his family was confined to a tent. And yet, as annotated by Crowley, one sees what immersion in one's Work is like.

Second, Wasserman's outstanding extended introduction is important reading in its own right. He discusses the use of the diary, how Crowley approached it and how its maintenance is taught, and why it is important.

Third, also included in the book are a series of appendices, from the frivolous (a compendium of the french food Crowley referenced in JSJ) to the sublime (Crowley's exercise program for neophytes, with standards to meet).

If the purpose of the book is to refocus the reader on his own Work, to relight the fire for immersion in one's own meditation exercise, it certainly hits the mark.
